No kW showing on Mate

Postby asdex on Mon Oct 26, 2015 6:27 pm

Hi, I have part of my system running now and when the fridge is running I expected to see the watts being drawn from the inverter. Have I further buttons to push to get this or doesn't it give this information?
I have attached a picture which was taken when the fridge was running.
Thanks,

It may depend on how energy efficient your fridge is and, in my experience, the Mate does not show any power being drawn/inverted until it reaches 0.100kW (despite the 3 decimal places on the kW reading) and then the readings are in multiples of 0.1kW.

Generally we never "see" the power use of our fridge on the Mate unless something else is in use that makes the combined power use greater than 100W.

Thanks, that will be it. The fridge draws 90 watts.
Cheers,
