The webinar was interesting though not especially packed with new information not found in their documents and integration guides.

A few tidbits:

SimpliPhi is coming out with a new battery with external BMS. No details, but the presenter said there'd be an announcement in the next few weeks.

Battery monitors that work with their units -
The FNDC is recommended though it was implied SOC is not accurate in all circumstances (those circumstances not defined.) It was mentioned that when the battery reaches a full charge state, it will go through a "resting" period then drop to about 51.5V. The FNDC looks for a voltage drop to set 100% SoC, so its good to know the Simpliphi architecture provides that trigger. What wasn't clear is how much discharge (in AH) occurs before the voltage drop.

The Victron BMS700 series was the presenter's recommendation for closely tracking SoC.

The presentation included their standard Voltage vs SoC table at C/2. In the Q&A, I asked how the Voltage - SoC correlation changes with different C/ rates, but the presenter didn't answer the question.
